Job summary

Clarios, LLC operates a Canby, Oregon battery plant and seeks a QA professional to design and implement quality control procedures using SPC. You will coach staff, audit processes, and drive improvements across materials and production while ensuring safety standards are met.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree in engineering or statistics, 2–5 years in manufacturing, and proficiency with Excel/Access/Visio.ISO/TS-16949 experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering, statistics or related field is required.
• 2–5 years manufacturing experience with progressive responsibilities.
• Audit experience preferred and ISO/TS-16949 exposure is beneficial.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Access, Visio, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement quality control procedures with SPC methods.
• Direct, review and coach staff on measuring and testing products and data reporting.
• Administer safety, health and housekeeping standards and training efforts.
• Audit processes for compliance and drive corrective/preventive actions.
• Analyze data to support continuous improvements in supplier products.
