Job summary

Clarios in Yuma, AZ is seeking a Quality Engineer to design and implement quality tests, perform SPC analyses, and lead audits across manufacturing facilities. You will drive continuous improvement, tackle customer quality concerns, and guide cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and compliance with APQP requirements.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a technical field, 1–2 years in Quality Engineering, CQE or equivalent experience, and knowledge of ISO/TS standards and SPC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field.
• 1-2 years of Quality Engineering experience with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of ISO/TS Quality Standards and SPC.
• ASQ CQE certification or equivalent Quality Engineering experience.
• Knowledge of APQP requirements.
• Strong statistical analysis skills and quality improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement quality tests and SPC procedures to meet manufacturing specs.
• Conduct annual plant quality audits across facilities.
• Lead investigations and resolution of customer quality concerns and complaints.
• Serve as project leader for cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with plants and cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and product quality.
• Support new product and process development activities while ensuring APQP requirements.
