Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a Quality Coordinator in Sparks, NV. This full-time role supports the development, implementation, and evaluation of the organization’s performance improvement program, with a focus on Joint Commission standards and patient safety.

You will coordinate data analysis, monitor CMS Core measures, and assist Nursing leadership by developing tools and educational plans to measure and improve compliance across departments.

Qualifications

  • Current RN license in the state of Nevada.
  • Three to five years clinical experience.
  • PI or QA experience preferred.

  • Performs oversight, monitoring and compliance with CMS Core measures and FMEAs.
  • Analyze data and provide feedback to Director.
  • Assist Nursing leadership in developing tools to measure compliance (audit tool design, plan education, collaborative implementation) evaluation and follow-up.
  • Serve as a resource for Nursing leadership and staff, and Medical Staff as needed.

Responsibilities

This Quality Coordinator opportunity is full-time at 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday schedule. It offers full benefits and a convenient day shift schedule. The Quality Coordinator helps coordinate the development, implementation, and evaluation of the overall performance improvement program. This includes supporting the corporation's performance improvement process, identifying performance trends, as well as prioritizing, and recommending improvements. The coordinator also plays a supportive role in ensuring compliance with all The Joint Commission (TJC) standards and will investigate specific areas of concern as identified by the leadership.
