Job summary

Mural Group is partnering with a well-established food manufacturing company in Schaumburg, IL to fill two Quality Control Technician openings on the second and night shifts. This role involves conducting metal detector checks, batch verification, and strict inspection across the line, with authority to place product on hold if standards fail.

Base pay is $22/hour with shift differential and mandatory overtime, six days per week.

Qualifications

• Available to work Monday through Saturday on second or night shift.
• Computer literate: email, Excel, Word, scanning and saving files.
• QC or quality inspection background in manufacturing; food a plus.
• Organized, detail-oriented, able to enforce standards under pushback.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Clear background check required.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks across the production line from start to finish.
• Conduct metal detector checks and batch ticket verification.
• Verify labels/lock codes, allergens swabs, ATP swabbing, and visuals.
• Authorize holds when standards are not met and support night shift pre-op line release.
