Job summary

Pures Food Specialties, Inc. in Northlake, IL is seeking a Quality Technician on 2nd shifts to ensure products meet ISO 13485, FDA, ISO 9001 standards and support continuous improvement.

You will perform sampling, testing, documentation, and participate in GMP, HACCP, and environmental monitoring, with exposure to food safety processes and equipment. Strong attention to detail and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with exposure to food industry preferred.
• Training in HACCP and GFSI standards (e.g., BRC or SQF) is preferred.
• Good writing, mathematics and analytical thinking skills required.

Responsibilities

• Protect food safety and quality by sampling, testing and documenting per regs and GMPs.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Report food safety/QA issues to supervision and support shift change communications.
