Job summary

Caliberr Staffing is seeking two Quality Control Technicians for evening and overnight shifts in Schaumburg, IL. The role offers a starting wage of $22 per hour plus additional premiums for evening and overnight schedules, with a mandatory six‑day work week and overtime opportunities.

You will monitor quality across the full production cycle, perform metal detection tests, allergen and ATP swabs, and verify batch documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality inspection within manufacturing settings (food, chemical, automotive, or pharmaceutical)
• Proficient with MS Excel and MS Word; comfortable with email and file management
• Able to pass a comprehensive background screening
• Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality assurance throughout the production cycle and verify batch documentation
• Perform metal detection tests, allergen and ATP environmental swabs, and visual quality checks
• Check labels and lock codes; conduct divider weight checks and hourly belt link inspections
• Halt production if quality standards are not met; ensure compliance with procedures
• Overnight role includes pre-operational line releases before Monday startup
