Job summary

Amrize seeks a Quality Control Technician I at the Moorhead Office, MN to perform quality control tests on product lines per ASTM/AASHTO standards. You will report results, analyze data, and support best practices in quality initiatives across the geographic area.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma and 1–3 years of concrete/aggregate testing experience; Minnesota DOT certifications or equivalent are a plus. Flexible hours and team collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minnesota DOT certifications or ability to obtain are preferred.
• Two years of post-secondary technical education or equivalent in experience preferred.
• Availability and willingness to work flexible hours including some nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Observe and enforce Amrize Safety Standards, Advisories, and Policies.
• Carry out on-the-job safety measures and environmental responsibilities.
• Perform routine service, repair, and calibration of lab/testing equipment.
• Update Quality Control/QA databases and provide summaries or analyses.
• Learn basic operations of cement, asphalt or aggregate plants.
• Provide troubleshooting guidance for internal and external customers.
• Offer technical material performance support for plants in the geographic area.
• Recommend plant changes to ensure conformance and consistency.
• Assist Plant Superintendents and Managers as required.
