Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Quality Control Technician I to perform QC tests for cement, asphalt or aggregate products in Moorhead, MN, following ASTM and AASHTO standards. You will analyze data, report results, and support plant quality initiatives.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1–3 years in concrete/aggregate testing, and possible Minnesota DOT certification. Safety, calibration, and documentation are essential to success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of concrete and/or aggregate testing.
• Minnesota DOT Certifications or the ability to obtain (provided by Amrize).

Responsibilities

• Observe and enforce all Amrize Safety Standards, Advisories, and Policies.
• Conduct quality control tests to ensure materials meet specifications.
• Report results upward and analyze data.
• Maintain and calibrate lab and field testing equipment.
• Update QC/QA databases and provide summaries as needed.
