Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Quality Control Technician I to collect samples and perform quality control testing on residential and commercial projects. You’ll certify results, document findings and support production with technical QC input, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental policies.

The role emphasizes accurate testing, timely reporting to management and collaboration with production teams on project requirements and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or 3–5 years of equivalent experience.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• State regulated or industry certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Collects samples and performs quality control testing.
• Provides verbal and/or written test results to management and production staff in a timely manner.
• Certifies results of laboratory findings.
• Maintains mix designs as required by the project, DOT or local city/county specifications or to ensure accuracy of products used in mix.
• Ensures safety, compliance and environmental requirements are followed.
• Records, analyzes, certifies and prepares summaries of findings and maintains test result records.
• Provides technical support for production.
• Assist in the investigation, testing, and sampling of raw materials and finished products to help solve quality problems.
• Promote health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments.
