Job summary

SRM Concrete is hiring Quality Control Technicians to ensure our ready mix concrete meets high standards for commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects. Training is provided for those new to QC or the concrete industry, with opportunities to advance as you grow expertise.

Excellent attention to detail and teamwork are essential as you perform material testing, record results, and support production in delivering top-quality products to customers nationwide.

Qualifications

• Perform routine and non-routine testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished concrete.
• Interpret test results and compare to specifications and control limits.
• Conduct visual inspections of concrete products for quality standards.
• Collaborate with production to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues.
• Deliver quality control training to production staff as directed by management.
• Maintain accurate test records and quality-related documentation.
• Stay current on industry trends and regulations to improve QC processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished ready mix concrete using standard methods.
• Interpret results and compare to established specifications and control limits.
• Conduct visual inspections of concrete products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues.
• Deliver QC training to production staff as directed by management or technical services.
• Maintain accurate records of tests, analyses, and quality-related activities.
• Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and regulations to help improve QC processes.
