Job summary

The role requires physical activity, outdoor work in various weather, and flexibility for overtime. A high school diploma or GED is required, with pre-employment checks and a valid driver's license expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pre-employment drug screening, background check, and "Fit for Work" physical.
• Valid driver’s license and compliance with fleet safety standards.
• Professionalism and courteous attitude at all times.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, overtime, outdoors in various weather.
• 18 years or older with valid I-9 documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with co-workers and managers in a dynamic team setting.
• Champion a safe work environment by following all safety policies.
• Conduct inspections, sampling, and testing of aggregates, asphalt, and materials.
• Test mixtures for contract specs and QC tolerances.
• Monitor processes and materials to meet agency and customer requirements.
• Record and maintain data in the test results database.
• Assist internal and external customers with professionalism.
• Achieve necessary certifications promptly to stay current.
• Support quality control plans and keep work areas clean.
• Perform other duties as needed to support team success.
