Job description

The QTI Group is seeking a Direct Hire 1st Shift Quality Control Technician who is skilled and able to conduct production QC inspections, but also lead ISO processes and audits. In this position the ideal candidate would be expected to be involved in every part of the quality process.

  • Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm or could be 8:00am-5:00pm
  • Pay: up to $60,000/yr depending on experience
Responsibilities:
  • Perform in-process QC inspections during production runs and final product inspections before shipment.
  • Conduct dimensional, functional, and material testing with the ability to use calipers, micrometers, gages, CMM and other quality lab equipment.
  • Verify and inspect incoming materials, components, tooling, and fixtures for compliance.
  • Conduct internal quality audits and support ISO 9001 compliance.
  • Maintain and improve ISO-related documentation, procedures, and training.
  • Lead Corrective and Preventive Actions
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in business administration, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a QA/QC role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting technical specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to document inspections clearly.
