Job summary

Moderna is seeking a Specialist in Quality Control to support AI-driven QC initiatives and enterprise laboratory systems. You will help configure and deploy digital solutions, ensure data integrity, and train QC staff while collaborating with IT, Digital, and Regulatory teams in a GMP environment.

The role emphasizes handling LIMS/Chromatography Data Systems, performing admin tasks, and driving continuous improvement in QC processes and AI adoption.

Qualifications

• BS in sciences or related field.
• 3–5 years in biotech/biopharma, QC, Digital or Automation.
• Familiarity with AI, data analysis, and GMP environments.
• Experience with laboratory informatics systems (LIMS, CDS) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for QC laboratory systems with LIMS and CDS.
• Perform routine system administration: user access, updates, maintenance.
• Serve as Tier 1 support for laboratory computer systems; document resolutions.
• Support testing and deployment of system enhancements and new functionality.
• Maintain SOPs, work instructions, and training materials.
• Ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance (ALCOA+, GMP).
• Train QC personnel on software use and best practices.
• Identify process improvements to simplify workflows and enhance UX.
• Support AI-powered and digital solutions for QC operations, including data review and reporting.
• Collaborate with IT, Digital, and Regulatory to align with AI strategy.
