Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Manager I to lead the quality process for cement production at Canon City Agg/Asp CO. You will certify shipments, establish lab practices, and ensure compliance with industry and government standards.

The role requires a technical degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years in aggregates, and travel to other sites. You’ll work under safety-focused policies and mentor lab staff while maintaining equipment accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 5 years of equivalent experience in a technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Aggregate industry.
• Willingness to travel to other Aggregate sites for training and meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure safe operations of all quality processes, including plant and lab safety.
• Meet internal and customer specifications and certify cement shipments.
• Maintain and implement Corporate and Plant Quality Manuals per quality program.
• Oversee testing across production stages: raw materials, clinker, cement, etc.
• Staff laboratory personnel and ensure proper training for sampling/testing.
