McMillen, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Manager with heavy civil construction experience to lead the quality program on dam and lock electrical projects.

You will oversee inspection and testing activities, ensure compliance with contractual requirements, and coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and project teams to deliver safe, reliable outcomes. The role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of QC in heavy civil construction; USACE experience and CQCM

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (highly desired).
• 5+ years of heavy civil construction experience in a Quality Control role.
• Experience with dam and lock electrical work is required.
• Previous USACE experience is a plus.
• USACE CQCM certification or ability to obtain certification.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Quality Control practices and procedures.
• Ensure all work complies with contractual requirements, specifications, and drawings.
• Verify materials meet approved submittals and specifications.
• Execute testing procedures per contract documents and industry standards.
• Prepare professional correspondence for clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Monitor, document, and track QC documentation (reports, testing, and meetings).
• Review special inspections and material testing performed by third parties.

Skills

5+ years heavy civil QC experience

USACE CQCM certification or eligible

OSHA 30 preferred
