Job summary

McMillen, Inc. seeks a seasoned Quality Control Manager with heavy civil construction experience to lead the project QC program for dam and lock electrical work. You will implement quality controls, coordinate inspections, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements across on-site activities.

Ideal candidates will have a 5+ year track record in QC for heavy civil projects, USACE experience, and CQCM certification (or ability to obtain). OSHA 30 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field highly desired.
• 5+ years of heavy civil construction experience in a Quality Control capacity.
• Experience with dam and lock electrical work is required.
• USACE CQCM certification or ability to obtain certification.
• OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Quality Control practices and procedures
• Ensure all work complies with contractual requirements, specifications, and drawings
• Verify materials incorporated into the project meet approved submittals and specifications
• Execute required testing procedures in accordance with contract documents and industry standards
• Prepare professional correspondence for clients, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders
• Monitor, document, and track QC documentation, including daily reports, testing and inspection reports, and preparatory/initial meetings
• Review special inspections and material testing performed by third parties
