Job summary

McMillen, Inc. seeks a qualified Quality Control Manager with heavy civil construction experience to lead the QC program on dam and lock electrical projects. You will coordinate inspections, testing, and documentation to ensure compliance with contract requirements and project specifications, while maintaining the firm's standard of excellence.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant degree, have 5+ years in QC for heavy civil work, and USACE exposure. CQCM certification and OSHA 30 are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of heavy civil construction experience in a Quality Control capacity.
• Experience with dam and lock electrical work is required.
• USACE experience is a plus; CQCM certification preferred or ability to obtain.
• OSHA 30 preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Quality Control practices and procedures
• Ensure all work complies with contractual requirements, specifications, and drawings
• Verify materials incorporated into the project meet approved submittals and specifications
• Execute required testing procedures in accordance with contract documents and industry standards
• Prepare professional correspondence for clients, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders
• Monitor, document, and track QC documentation, including daily reports, testing and inspection reports, and preparatory/initial meetings
• Review special inspections and material testing performed by third parties
