Job Description

The Quality Control Manager provides leadership, coordination, guidance, and technical expertise in all areas of quality. The QCM is responsible for the overall daily operations of quality. This position develops and administers quality-related policies, procedures, techniques, and initiatives to ensure consistent adherence to quality standards on the project. Our client is a top ENR GC based in Boise, ID. They offer relocation assistance and a competitive package.

What You Need

• Experience working on ground-up construction projects (light industrial, advanced tech, data center)
• 5+ years of construction management experience
• Excellent consultative and communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with all management levels
• Proficient with database operations, Microsoft Office Suite, and Procore
• Understanding and support of corporate safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds frequently

What You'll Do

• Plan, develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Plan and QA/QC project management, supporting technical staff
• Lead quality staff to perform inspections and testing of fabricated products on-site and at subcontractor sites
• Manage the quality organization and quality management system to control process and product quality
• Review specifications and set quality standards
• Ensure all materials, workmanship, and construction comply with contract plans and specifications
• Develop quality reports, post-construction reports, and progress reports
• Maintain records of inspection and testing data and quality standards
