Job summary

IDEX is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to lead inspection teams across manufacturing, ensuring product release, calibration control, and GD&T expertise. You will guide CMM programming and FAIR preparation while maintaining ISO 9001 and AS9100 compliance.

The role emphasizes leadership, process improvement, and close collaboration with Engineering and Production. Ideal candidates have extensive GD&T knowledge, strong communication skills, and experience in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
• Advanced blueprint reading and dimensional inspection
• Knowledge of FAIR preparation, AS9102, ISO 9001, AS9100
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to use ERP, quality, calibration, document-control, and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach Quality Control personnel and align resources with production and customer needs.
• Oversee inspection activities and ensure timely, accurate product release across manufacturing operations.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for GD&T, blueprint interpretation, metrology and inspection-methods.
• Provide direction for CMM programming, validation, inspection planning, and measurement-system capability.
• Prepare and approve FAIRs and ensure timely customer certifications and quality documentation.
• Manage calibration controls for inspection equipment, ensuring compliance and traceability.
