Own the preparation and approval of FAIRs and the timely, accurate completion of customer certifications and supporting quality documentation. Own calibration controls for inspection, measuring, and test equipment, including compliance, traceability, availability, records, and response to out-of-tolerance conditions. Coordinate containment and inspection support for nonconforming material, corrective actions, product issues, and internal or customer escapes. Improve inspection performance by reducing queue time, backlog, repeat work, and documentation errors through standardization, workload management, automation, and team development. Evaluate inspection plans and drawing requirements to eliminate redundant or non-value-added inspection and partner with Engineering to update requirements when recurring approved deviations indicate the drawing or specification should be revised.
