Job summary
Top Quality Recruitment (TQR) is seeking a Lead QA Technician to support quality management by coaching technicians, performing precision inspections, and ensuring proper protocols are followed. The role requires reading drawings and GD&T, experience with CMM programming, and strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities include documenting inspection results, communicating data to management and customers, and ensuring alignment with ISO 9001 standards. A 3–5 year QA background is preferred.
Qualifications
- Minimum age 18 years.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3–5 years in manufacturing QA/inspection role.
- Experience with ISO 9001 or similar standards.
- Strong reading of engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Experience with FAI inspections and NCRs.
- Proficient in Excel for data entry and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Assist QA Management in coaching and monitoring technicians.
- Perform critical inspections using precision measurement equipment.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
- Ensure proper protocols and inspection processes are followed.
- Document inspection results and quality records.
- Communicate inspection data to management and customers as needed.
- Support ISO 9001 compliance and related documentation.
