Job summary

IDEX is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to lead inspection across manufacturing, supervise inspectors, the CMM Programmer, and a Calibration Technician. You will ensure product release, first article inspections, and certifications while upholding GD&T and measurement standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Metrology required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in quality control, metrology, or manufacturing quality with supervisory experience.
• Experience with inspection operations, FAIRs, calibration controls, and customer certifications.
• Experience in aerospace/defense or other regulated manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, schedule, and develop Quality Control personnel with alignment to production and customer needs.
• Oversee incoming, in-process, final, and first article inspection and ensure timely product release.
• Serve as the GD&T and metrology SME; provide direction for CMM programming and measurement-system capability.
• Own calibration controls for inspection equipment and ensure proper documentation and traceability.
• Prepare and approve FAIRs and customer certifications; manage nonconforming material actions.
• Drive improvements to inspection performance through standardization, automation, and workload management.
• Maintain ISO 9001 and AS9100 compliance and coordinate with Engineering on drawing changes.
