Job summary

B.L. Harbert International, LLC in Fort Smith, Arkansas is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead daily QC activities for BLHI projects, ensuring construction aligns with established standards and coordinating with Project Managers, Superintendents, and external staff.

Responsibilities include maintaining submittal logs, reviewing shop drawings, chairing weekly QC meetings, issuing daily QC reports, conducting inspections, and ensuring material conformance and safety compliance on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction industry experience.
• Experience with QC processes and site inspections.
• OSHA 30 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Create, update and maintain the project submittal log and all other QC reports.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance with project specs.
• Chair and document weekly QC meetings with the superintendent and provide minutes.
• Provide daily QC reports and address non-conformances promptly.
• Lead preparatory, initial and follow-up meetings to define standards of care.
• Verify materials received conform to submittals and are stored properly.
• Schedule and log inspections and ensure non-conformances are corrected.
• Document final inspections and occupancy certifications.
• Stop work to resolve safety or quality issues.
