Job summary

BLHI is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the Sr. Project Superintendent in daily field supervision of construction activities. You will enforce safety policies, direct craft personnel and subcontractors, and schedule work to meet objectives.

You will oversee quality per contract documents, maintain QC/QA files, update as-built drawings, and participate in progress meetings to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications

• Must have 1–3 years of experience as an assistant superintendent and total construction experience.
• Experience in construction management, commercial/hospitality, buildings and infrastructure.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or comparable degree.
• Experience managing project budgets, developing and maintaining schedules, and owner relationships.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be open to relocation.

Responsibilities

• Support the Sr. Project Superintendent with day-to-day supervision of field construction activities.
• Enforce safety policies and direct craft personnel and subcontractors.
• Schedule and sequence daily work activities to meet project objectives.
• Oversee project quality per contract documents and applicable codes.
• Maintain QC/QA files and update as-built drawings; attend progress meetings.
