Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Strong ability to read and interpret prints and drawings.
• Knowledge of national QA standards.
• Experience with welding principles and structural materials.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Must be punctual and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional checks to verify standards are met.
• Read and interpret drawings or prints.
• Identify and troubleshoot potential problem areas with production processes.
• Record inspection results in quality database and summarize re-works.
• Train production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence.
• Keep measurement equipment operating correctly via calibration requirements.
• Verify welding procedures are being maintained.
• Document all changes and corrections, and maintain records.
• Give weld tests as needed.
• Ensure overall quality of all products.
