Job summary

The Quality Control Checker position at NFI is responsible for accurate checking or counting of all products for inbound and outbound freight. You will verify quantities, labeling and addressing on outbound orders to ensure shipments meet customer expectations.

Candidates should have at least 2 years in a similar role, MS Office experience, excellent communication, strong analytical and mathematical skills, and the ability to work independently while lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for

Qualifications

• At least 2 year experience in similar position.
• Computer applications experience using MS Office.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work independently.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs without restriction.
• Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to stand and walk for continuous periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that the quantity, quality and labeling and addressing of outbound orders.
• Reports shortages, damages and mis-shipments.
• Checks contents of orders as filled and assembled by Order Selectors.
• Compare the quantity, quality, labeling and address with customer order to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct.
