Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Quality Control Checker to ensure accurate checking or counting of all products for inbound and outbound freight. You will verify quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of outbound orders and report shortages, damages, and mis-shipments.

Responsibilities include verifying orders prepared by Order Selectors, comparing order contents with customer specs, and upholding shipping accuracy.

Qualifications

• At least 2 year experience in similar position.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Analytical and mathematical skills.
• Able to work independently.
• Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs.
• Able to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that the quantity, quality and labeling and addressing of outbound orders.
• Reports shortages, damages and mis-shipments.
• Checks contents of orders as filled and assembled by Order Selectors.
• Compare the quantity, quality, labeling and address with customer order to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct.
