Job summary

NFI Industries in Lancaster, TX is seeking a Quality Control Checker to ensure accurate counting and inspection of all inbound and outbound freight. You will verify quantity, quality and labeling, supporting timely and correct shipments.

Responsibilities include reporting shortages, damages and mis-shipments, and checking orders as prepared by Order Selectors to ensure completeness and correctness. Requires 2+ years' related experience and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• At least 2 year experience in similar position.
• Computer applications experience using MS Office.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work independently.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift and/or pull 50 lbs without restriction.
• Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to stand and walk for continuous periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that the quantity, quality and labeling and addressing of outbound orders.
• Reports shortages, damages and mis-shipments.
• Checks contents of orders as filled and assembled by Order Selectors.
• Compare the quantity, quality, labeling and address with customer order to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct.
