Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to maintain accurate inventory records and support ongoing management procedures. You will reconcile inventories, coordinate annual physical counts, and implement programs to improve accuracy and efficiency.

The role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication. You will work with multiple teams and must be able to handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar position.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and basic computer skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical abilities.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update inventory records accurately.
  • Develop and implement efficient inventory procedures.
  • Perform daily activities to support inventory management.
  • Reconcile inventories with book records and adjust as needed.
  • Coordinate annual physical inventory procedures.
  • Audit returns and ensure proper disposition of damaged goods.
  • Conduct weekly cycle counts and adjust systems accordingly.
  • Maintain security and confidentiality of inventory data.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for audits and management.
