Job summary

NFI is seeking a Quality Control Checker to ensure accurate checking and counting of products for inbound and outbound freight at our site in Port Wentworth, GA. The role emphasizes attention to quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of outbound orders, with emphasis on accuracy and timely reporting of discrepancies.

The position requires minimum 2 years in a similar role, strong analytical skills, and the ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and work extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• MS Office experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that the quantity, quality and labeling and addressing of outbound orders.
• Reports shortages, damages and mis-shipments.
• Checks contents of orders as filled and assembled by Order Selectors.
• Compare the quantity, quality, labeling and address with customer order to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct.
