Healthcare Glendale, the mattress manufacturing arm of MLILY, seeks a Quality Control Inspector for a day shift in Litchfield Park, AZ. You will inspect products, perform quality tests, and ensure conformance to specifications to maintain high standards.

QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR -Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Inspector works in a manufacturing setting with the responsibility of ensuring quality in all goods produced by Healthcare Arizona, LLC. To be successful in this role, you should be able to work with consistent speed and accuracy. An outstanding Quality Assurance Inspector should be able to maintain production standards and work towards improving productivity without compromising quality.

Day Shift: 6:30am-6pm.Monday – Friday

Salary Range:

$18.50/hr

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Inspect products to ensure that they meet quality standards.
• Performs tests for quality control of products.
• Disassemble product parts to inspect them individually.
• Monitor production operations to ensure conformance to Healthcare Arizona, LLC’s specifications
• Direct assembly adjustments to ensure operations reflect quality standards.
• Ensure products meet customer expectations based on company objectives.
• Communicate the results of inspections and put forward corrective suggestions.
• Write reports to document deficiencies and errors of products.
• Reporting any issues to the team leader or supervisor on duty
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Basic Math and Reading.
• Quality Control experience working in a factory is highly preferred.

• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control processes.
• Knowledge of arithmetic and statistics as they apply to the inspection process.
• Excellent communication skills: clear and concise verbal and written communication.

• Skilled at conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality and/or performance.
• Skilled at monitoring/assessing performance standards to make improvements or take corrective action.

• Ability to conduct detailed inspections of products at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
• Ability to quickly and accurately compare similarities and differences among sets of letters, numbers, objects, pictures, or patterns.
• Ability to identify or detect a known pattern that may be hidden in other distracting material.
• Ability to concentrate on a task over a given period of time without distraction.
• Ability to imagine how something will look after it is moved around or when its parts are moved or rearranged.

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting: Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up-to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up-to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Sitting: Short periods of sitting at a desk or computer workstation.
• Standing: Sustained periods of time in a standing position.
• Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
