Healthcare Arizona LLC, a premier mattress manufacturing arm of the MLILY company, operates a large Goodyear facility focused on producing memory foam mattresses designed to keep you cooler and more comfortable through the night.

The Quality Control Inspector role ensures that every item meets stringent quality standards. You will inspect, test, document, and communicate results while maintaining high production efficiency and working a standard Monday–Friday schedule with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards.

Healthcare Arizona LLC, a premier mattress manufacturing arm of the MLILY company, is an air-conditioned 650,000sq feet manufacturing plant in Goodyear, Arizona. We manufacture advanced memory foam mattresses that help you sleep cooler and more comfortably through the night so that you wake up feeling refreshed and ready to take on whatever the day throws at you.

Job Summary: The Quality Control Inspector works in a manufacturing setting with the responsibility of ensuring quality in all goods produced by Healthcare Arizona, LLC. To be successful in this role, you should be able to work with consistent speed and accuracy. An outstanding Quality Assurance Inspector should be able to maintain production standards and work towards improving productivity without compromising quality.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Schedule: 6:20am-6pm, Monday – Friday, Friday hours vary based on business needs

Pay: $18.50/hr for regular time & $27.75/hr for overtime

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Inspect products to ensure that they meet quality standards.
  • Performs tests for quality control of products.
  • Disassemble product parts to inspect them individually.
  • Monitor production operations to ensure conformance to Healthcare Arizona, LLC’s specifications
  • Direct assembly adjustments to ensure operations reflect quality standards.
  • Ensure products meet customer expectations based on company objectives.
  • Communicate the results of inspections and put forward corrective suggestions.
  • Write reports to document deficiencies and errors of products.
  • Reporting any issues to the team leader or supervisor on duty
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Basic Math and Reading.
  • Quality Control experience working in a factory is highly preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting: Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position‑to‑position. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up‑to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up‑to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Sitting: Short periods of sitting at a desk or computer workstation.
  • Standing: Sustained periods of time in a standing position.
  • Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
  • Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Clear and effective verbal communication to convey detailed or important information accurately. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to adjust the speaking volume.
  • Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and make fine discriminations in sound.
  • Vision: The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of work assigned.
  • Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.
  • Kneeling: Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.
  • Crouching: Bending the body downward and forward by bending the leg and spine.
  • Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
  • Pushing: Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward, or outward.
  • Pulling: Using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.
  • Environment: The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions, protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
