Job Description

Job Title: Quality Control Inspector
Pay: $17.00/hour
Location: Elkhart, IN
Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Department: Quality
Reports To: Quality Assurance Lead & Quality Supervisor Job Summary:
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspecting products, materials, and gauges to ensure they meet company and customer standards. This role supports the Quality Management System and serves as backup for the Quality Assurance Supervisor. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily inspections using Keyence Digital Comparator
• Approve/reject product samples; issue MMDRs and VMDRs
• Conduct First Article Inspections and color inspections with spectrophotometer
• Audit processes and products, including RMA and customer returns
• Support PPAP activities and root cause analysis
• Assist with lab testing, capability studies, and Gage R&R
• Collaborate with Production and Engineering to resolve quality issues
• Train inspectors and verify quality documentation accuracy

Requirements:

• Proficient computer skills; MS Office
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
