Commercial Property and Casualty Underwriting Quality Assurance Analyst - Remote Opportunity

As the Commercial Property and Casualty Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for the quality review strategy focusing on portfolio analysis in Non-Profit Human Services, Religious Organizations, and Programs. The team collaborates to review targeted and random underwriting files, identifying strengths and opportunities. You will assist underwriting leaders in developing and implementing training strategies to improve individual and team performance. Additionally, you will work closely with underwriters and management to identify process improvements and may contribute to departmental projects. The role requires nimble decision-making and relies on your experience and judgment to meet goals.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform portfolio quality reviews in Commercial Niches and Programs, ensuring policies meet standards for accuracy, coverage, rating, and compliance.
  2. Prepare executive summaries and reports for underwriting management, including presentations for senior leaders.
  3. Collaborate with management to identify inefficiencies and recommend training to address performance gaps.
  4. Work with other departments to incorporate relevant topics into training programs.
  5. Provide advice and answer questions from underwriters regarding processes, procedures, and risk assessment.
  6. Contribute to training curriculum development on new procedures, risk selection, and market intelligence.
  7. Participate in underwriting projects and serve as QA subject matter expert.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Five (5) years of commercial underwriting experience or equivalent technical experience.
  • Two (2) years of experience as a QA Associate or similar auditing role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Non-Profit Human Services, Religious Organizations, or related programs is highly desirable.

Compensation:

  • $79,200 - $132,000 depending on experience, plus bonus eligibility.
  • In CA, CT, MA, NJ, NY, and PA: $87,000 - $145,000 depending on experience, plus bonus.
