Job summary

International Motors is seeking a Quality Control Inspection Supervisor for its San Antonio area plant. The role oversees inspectors, develops procedures, and drives continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Day shift with planned transition to a night shift as the operation ramps up in mid-2027. The position is salaried, with a 10% shift differential after transitioning to night hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of quality inspection experience or a Master’s degree with at least 1 year of quality inspection experience or 5 years of quality inspection experience
• Experience leading inspectors and auditing teams preferred
• Knowledge of federal, state, local regulations (OSHA, EPA) and safety practices

Responsibilities

• Directs and supports Auditors and Inspection Technicians to ensure inspections and repairs are performed correctly
• Maintains high inspection quality and adherence to safety policies
• Manages workflow and data capture for inspections, audits, and repairs
• Communicates with managers regarding unusual repairs and schedule coordination
• Ensures timely vehicle inspection and delivery through efficient process flow
• Keeps up with changes to inspection/rework criteria and product updates
• Provides on-the-job technical support and mentors inspectors
