Job summary

Toyota Boshoku America seeks a shift supervisor to oversee Team Leaders and Team Members, driving TPS-based processes and daily quality goals. You will plan staffing, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards on the manufacturing floor.

The role requires leadership experience in a manufacturing setting, knowledge of TPS/PEFF systems, and the ability to train and coach staff while maintaining productivity and cost controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of three years manufacturing experience with leadership; automotive experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Toyota Production System (TPS) and PEFF systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Function as a first-line supervisor over team leaders and team members.
• Plan and coordinate staffing, monitor work hours, overtime, and attendance.
• Ensure compliance with all company rules, policies, and practices and take corrective action when needed.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and manage KPI targets for safety, quality, and productivity.
• Maintain safety, quality, and efficiency by enforcing 5S and proper training.
