Job summary

Toyota Boshoku America in the United States, Illinois region is seeking a salaried manufacturing supervisor to lead team leaders and production staff. You will drive TPS-based process improvements, ensure adherence to quality standards, and coordinate staffing, training, and daily performance.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong problem solving, and effective communication to achieve safety, quality, and productivity targets across the plant.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team leaders and team members; plan staffing and monitor attendance.
• Lead and apply Toyota Production System (TPS) based improvements to processes.
• Ensure quality standards, safety, and customer satisfaction across shift.
• Investigate quality issues and coordinate containment and corrective actions.
• Maintain KPI boards, metrics, and promote continuous improvement.
