Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to oversee the QC program on a Hastings, Nebraska project. You will direct commissioning, testing, and documentation, and lead the QC team to ensure on-time, compliant delivery.

You will coordinate with the owner, project team, and subcontractors, review submittals, and maintain quality records. A minimum of six years in QC/QA in construction is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction, Civil, Architectural, Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Minimum of six (6) years of construction QC/QA experience.
• Experience leading others and mentoring teammates.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the commissioning process, including startup plan, schedule and functional testing.
• Oversee inspection and ensure timely, compliant delivery.
• Lead project closeout activities and provide operations manuals and training.
