Job summary

Pregis is seeking a Quality Manager in McDonough, GA to lead quality initiatives across shifts and ensure compliance with customer specs. You will supervise QC Technicians, drive audit readiness, and support new product development within the Mailing Solutions business unit.

The role emphasizes data-driven analysis, problem solving, and continuous improvement using Lean/DMAIC methodologies to reduce COPQ and improve performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar relevant degree preferred, or industry equivalent experience.
• At least 3 to 5 years’ manufacturing Quality Leadership experience required.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage Quality Control Technicians reporting to all shifts: recruit, onboard, train, evaluate, mentor, coach/counsel and develop QC Technicians as required by local plant.
• Ensures alignment with customer specifications, drives audit readiness, and upholds robust quality systems to support consistent product compliance and continuous improvement.
• Leads end-to-end quality incident investigations, ensuring timely containment and risk mitigation.
• Conduct structured root cause analysis (RCA) using standard problem-solving methodologies.
• Develop, implement, and verify effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Support Project Management, Change Management, Standard Operating Procedure documentation & implementation, regulatory compliance, and leadership needs with plant operations and new product development.
• Drive continuous improvement and measurable business value through the application of Lean/DMAIC methodologies, reducing COPQ and improving process performance and customer satisfaction.
