Job summary

Pratt Industries in Conyers, GA seeks a Safety & Quality Supervisor to lead continuous improvement and ensure compliance with quality policies and customer guidelines. The role drives QA activities, manages vendor performance, investigates defects, and promotes a safe, right-first-time work environment.

Responsibilities include analyzing data, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining GMP/SOP adherence while coaching teams to higher performance and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• College degree in manufacturing, engineering, logistics or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in a variety of manufacturing areas (production, logistics).
• Experience in quality system management or mfg/corrugated leadership preferred.
• Competent with MS Office and Statistical software.
• Previous ISO certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages the Quality Management System at the plant.
• Drives Continuous Improvement to improve costs, quality and service.
• Drives plant accountabilities in tracking vendor performance and customer complaints.
• Investigates critical quality defects on in-process and finished products.
• Generates and analyzes quality data and reports.
• Ensures timely response to customer feedback and applies corrective action.
• Supports safety as a top priority in training, job design and regulatory compliance.
• Establishes and manages systems for right first time performance.
• Participates in strategic thinking and plant/company processes.
• Builds a customer-focused environment for internal and external customers.
• Adheres to GMPs, SOPs and manages continuous improvement programs.
• Develops and analyzes methods to reduce costs and improve products and safety.
