Job summary

The Shyft Group, a leader in specialty vehicles, is seeking a Quality Auditor for the Utilimaster operation in Bristol, IN. In this regular, hourly role you will audit assembly processes, mentor employees on QA standards, and support continuous improvement efforts to ensure product quality.

Candidates should read blueprints and technical documents, perform shop math, and communicate quality issues to internal teams and suppliers.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in manufacturing (or 1+ year in truck body/walk-in van manufacturing).
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Audit assembly processes to ensure quality standards.
• Audit vehicles during and after assembly to validate quality.
• Document and report audit findings for daily tracking.

What you'll do:

• Ensure assembly operations meet quality standards by auditing processes, mentoring employees, and supporting continuous improvement.

What you need to be successful:
