Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is hiring a Quality Assurance Supervisor for the Decatur, AL facility. This on-site role supervises lab staff to ensure top product quality and food safety across shifts, with emphasis on training and problem resolution.

The ideal candidate has a science-based degree or 3+ years of lab leadership, familiarity with GMPs, and strong communication skills. Day shift with flexibility for plant needs; SAP/LIMS experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science-based area preferred or 3+ years laboratory leadership experience.
• Experience with GMPs and safety policies.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to lab team to maximize product quality and safety.
• Ensure procedures for product quality, employee safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Support QA systems including HACCP, GMP, labeling, sanitation and product storage.
• Coordinate schedules to ensure continuous lab coverage and production support.
• Support internal and external audits and report variances to Supervisors.
