Job summary

Woodcraft Rangers is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to oversee and enhance its expanded learning programs in the Los Angeles area. You will train on-site staff, monitor program implementation for quality and compliance, and ensure safety and inclusion across sites.

You will observe program delivery, report findings, and work with leadership to drive continuous improvement while supporting staff development and collaboration with school partners.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience managing or supervising a high-performing team.
• 6 months experience supervising or leading a team and/or group of children in a school or recreational setting or 6 units in child development.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are beneficial.
• Familiarity with relevant policies.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Experience working with ethnically and culturally diverse communities, with understanding of high-need areas in Los Angeles.
• Valid LIVE Scan, TB Clearance, and CPR Certification (provided by Woodcraft Rangers).
• Ability to use smart phone for work (Wi‑Fi/cell stipend).

Responsibilities

• Actively involved in executing the strategic plan for educational programs with on-site staff.
• Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality programs across sites and monitor compliance with standards.
• Enhance overall quality by observing, measuring, and recommending improvements.
• Observe program delivery, gather data, and provide constructive feedback and solutions.
• Collaborate with the program team and stakeholders to elevate educational offerings.
• Provide training and support to on-site staff on program methodologies and best practices.
• Communicate and align with school administrators on objectives and standards.
• Offer recommendations based on observations and share learnings with the team.
• Assist in hiring and training on-site staff to implement programs effectively.
