Job summary

Woodcraft Rangers is looking for a Training Manager to lead design, development, and delivery of organizational learning initiatives. You will collaborate with Associate Directors to align training with program goals, manage curricula, and ensure high-quality experiences for youth and families.

The role requires facilitation across virtual and in-person settings, cross-functional coordination, and a commitment to continuous improvement and data-informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of experiential learning theory and adult learning principles.
• Strong understanding of youth development and expanded learning programs.
• Experience in training design, facilitation, and program implementation.
• Commitment to data-driven decision-making and CQI.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships across teams and departments.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Proficiency in Canva, Microsoft Teams, Adobe, Microsoft Office, Forms, Planner, PPTX.
• Stable internet access.
• Valid LIVE Scan.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and enhancement of training programs aligned with goals and adult learning best practices.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure initiatives support organizational priorities.
• Oversee creation and maintenance of curricula, academies, and train-the-trainer programs.
• Ensure training content reflects current practices in experiential learning and instructional design.
• Oversee facilitation of training programs, including virtual and in-person sessions.
