Job summary

Woodcraft Rangers is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to oversee training, quality, and compliance of educational programs across sites in the greater Los Angeles area. You will observe, assess, and report on program delivery, and work with staff to improve practice to ensure safe, inclusive environments for youth and families.

This role emphasizes collaboration with program staff and school partners, proactive problem-solving, and ensuring programs meet high standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience managing or supervising a high-performing team.
• 6 months experience supervising or leading a team and/or group of children in a school or recreational setting or 6 units in child development.
• Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish beneficial.
• Familiarity with relevant policies.
• Demonstrated experience working with ethnically and culturally diverse communities.
• CPR/CPR Certification, TB clearance and LIVE Scan (provided by Woodcraft Rangers).

Responsibilities

• Actively involved in executing the strategic plan for educational programs.
• Ensure programs are designed and delivered with physical and emotional safety, inclusivity, and respect for all participants, staff, and families.
• Monitor for compliance with educational standards and organizational goals.
• Observe and measure program execution, assess effectiveness, and recommend improvements.
• Provide training and support to on-site staff.
• Collaborate with school administrators to align program delivery with objectives and standards.
• Assist in hiring on-site staff and delivering training.
