Job summary

Woodcraft Rangers is seeking an Assistant Site Coordinator for on-site support in Rosemead, CA. The role focuses on admin duties, meal and field trip logistics, and coordinating events to enhance after-school enrichment.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, energetic, and comfortable presenting to staff and families. Training occurs at the main office in Little Tokyo and at school sites; 30 hours of weekend/intersessional training are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• FBI & DOJ Livescan clearance required.
• TB Test clearance required.
• First Aid & CPR certification required.
• 6 months of supervising or leading a team and/or 6 child development units preferred.
• Ability to use a smartphone for work (WR provided stipend).
• Must pass an assessment test evaluating math, reading comprehension and spelling.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Coordinator in overseeing on-site logistics and administration.
• Lead daily meal logistics, field trip logistics, and events.
• Serve as the main point of contact with parents, community members, administration and staff.
• Attend training at the Woodcraft Rangers office and at school sites.
• Promote an inclusive, welcoming environment and ensure safety and compliance.
