Job summary

Zippy, a remote‑first lender specializing in manufactured home loans, is seeking a Manager, Quality Assurance to lead pre‑close and post‑close QA across the loan origination lifecycle. You will coach QA analysts, manage performance and capacity, calibrate reviews, and ensure findings align with policy, regulator, and investor requirements, while driving efficiency and reducing repeat issues.

With 7+ years in mortgage/QA and 3+ years of people management, you will partner across Origination,

Qualifications

• 7+ years in mortgage, consumer lending, manufactured housing lending, loan operations, underwriting, quality assurance, quality control, compliance, or a comparable financial services function.
• 3+ years of direct people-management experience, including coaching, performance management, training, workload planning, and employee development.
• Experience overseeing both pre‑close and post‑close quality reviews strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, regulations, and investor requirements to complex or ambiguous fact patterns.
• Strong investigative and research skills, including the ability to navigate multiple systems, reconcile conflicting information, and document supportable conclusions.
• Manufactured housing or specialty finance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor QA findings, trends, and remediation progress.
• Escalate material risks and coordinate cross‑functional QA discussions.
