Job summary

ALPLA in the United States seeks a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the site Quality Management System and drive continuous improvement. You will audit, monitor compliance, and collaborate with production and customer teams to ensure product safety and quality.

You will manage the quality team, coordinate audits (ISO 9001, FSSC 22000), maintain documentation, and mentor staff while partnering with suppliers and customers to resolve issues and improve performance.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in a STEM/technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with physical lab testing equipment, calipers, scales, digital height gauge and compression force testing equipment; experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) preferred.
• At least 5 years of work experience in Quality Assurance with a demonstrated track‑record of accomplishments as a QA Manager, preferably in a high‑speed manufacturing environment with significant customer engagement experience.
• Proficient with Excel, SPC software, Word, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Directs the Quality Management System activities and leads the site quality team to ensure regulatory and customer requirements are met.
• Audits internal and supplier processes, prepares audit reports, and drives corrective actions.
• Oversees laboratory operations, calibration, data integrity, and testing procedures to ensure product safety and quality.
• Manages customer relations for quality and regulatory communications, including RCA and complaint resolution.
