Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Quality Assurance role to partner with field teams, conducting maintenance inspections and audits to ensure adherence to standards and codes. The position focuses on data-driven QA, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement across properties.

You will guide on-site maintenance operations, implement preventive maintenance programs, and drive a culture of safety and reliability while collaborating with leadership and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, apply and maintain quality requirements, standards and methods for the inspection of mechanical and common areas within properties.
• Plan and conduct inspections/audits to ensure properties meet contractual standards and Quality Control standards.
• Document data and prepare inspection reports to management on quality assurance activities, issues, trends, and losses.
• Participate in miscellaneous projects including quality audits and design development projects.
• Partner with onsite teams to provide guidance and oversight for all maintenance operations, ensuring programs align with goals and codes.
• Partner with onsite teams to establish preventative maintenance programs, driving consistency and safety compliance.
• Organize meetings with maintenance managers to share best practices and ensure execution of initiatives.
• Influence, coach, and support maintenance teams to strengthen performance and safety culture.
• Provide expert guidance on maintenance optimization, asset reliability, and operational risk mitigation.
• Serve on safety committees and lead initiatives meeting safety expectations.
