Job summary

Resources for Human Development (RHD) in Delaware is hiring a Quality Assurance Manager to strengthen quality, compliance, risk management, and operational excellence across residential services. You will audit, analyze data, ensure licensing readiness, and train teams to implement sustainable improvements.

You will partner with leadership to improve service delivery, monitor incidents, and drive continuous quality improvement across multiple programs in the state.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field as listed.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in healthcare, behavioral health, IDD, or quality assurance.
• Demonstrated experience with documentation reviews, audits, quality assurance activities, and/or compliance monitoring.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to identify and communicate compliance and operational risks.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel to RHD programs throughout Delaware.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain systems promoting regulatory compliance, person-centered supports, health and safety outcomes, and operational excellence.
• Conduct audits and quality reviews, analyze trends, support licensing readiness, monitor corrective actions, and provide training and guidance to program teams across Delaware.
• Lead quality monitoring and compliance activities across residential programs.
• Review ISPs, BSPs, Risk Mitigation Plans and related documentation.
• Identify trends and potential areas of risk; develop corrective actions and track implementation.
• Travel to RHD programs throughout Delaware to support inspections and coaching.
• Promote proactive risk identification and prevention across programs.
